Job summary

Are you looking for a change or flexibility in your ANP role? Due to planned retirement, an opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our forward-thinking practice in Hanford/Trentham area.

Main duties of the job

We are seeking an ANP who is an independent prescriber to join our practice. The role will be suited to someone who is either already able to cover care homes or looking to expand their skills into elderly care and learning disability homes on a weekly basis for patient continuity at least one day a week (Any Training needs can be provided).

The role will also involve ANP duties in the practice. We expect the role will need a minimum of 2 days commitment each week.

Salary is negotiable, dependent upon experience and we are able to discuss any hours and working days as there is flexibility within the role.

We also cover a number of local elderly care and learning disability care homes.

Proactive, timely and consistent weekly ward rounds/support to the care home

Provide acute clinical care to patients

Consult and refer patients to specialists and other health professionals as appropriate.

Request and interpret results of laboratory investigations when necessary.

  • IT literate / proficient in the use of the computer
