We are seeking a newly qualified GP (within the last 2 years) to join our friendly and forward thinking practice under the Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS). Main duties of the job

  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care to a diverse and growing population
  • Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to provide holistic and coordinated care
  • Participate actively in clinical and practice meetings, contributing to decision-making and service development
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and uphold the highest standards of clinical governance
  • Support continuity of care through follow-up of results, referrals, and chronic disease management
  • Engage with practice audits, QI projects, and local health initiatives

Job responsibilities

You will be required to work exclusively at Queens Park Medical Centre. Main duties will include:

  • Face to face and telephone consultations
  • Home visits
  • Administration dealing with queries, prescriptions, test results, referral letters, tasks, hospital letters, emails and any other paperwork and correspondence in a timely manner.
  • Cover all clinical management of the patients in surgery as appropriate, including initiating investigations, reviewing results and making referrals.
  • Develop care and treatment plans in consultation with patients and in line with current guidance.
