Job summary
Ashfield House Surgery is based in Annesley Woodhouse a suburban village just
north of Nottingham and is close to the M1, A38, Sheffield and the Peak
District. Our practice population is circa 6000 patients with a mix of elderly
residents and young families.
We value excellent clinical, communication and organisational skills, who would integrate well with the clinical team withactivecontribution to continuing practice development. We will support the successful candidate with further training as needed.
Our close-knit team of reception and
administrative staff are on hand to offer support.
Due to the planned
retirement we are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated GP to join our progressive thinking team.
Main duties of the job
The post
holder will undertake a variety of standard GP duties including face-to-face
consultations home visits, telephone consultations, prescriptions, laboratory
reports and paperwork with protected admin time as a salaried
GP.
We are looking for the right GP to join our team at Ashfield for 4 - 7 sessions per week. Working days to be negotiable but
we would need to ensure good cover for our patients throughout the week.

Our surgery is supported by 3 portfolio career doctors.
We are also supported by 2 Advanced Nurse Practitioners, 1 Practice Nurse and 1 Health Care Assistant.
There is a community care nurse and home visit support from PICS. Collaborative working with Clinical Pharmacists, Physiotherapist, Social Prescribers, and Mental Health Practitioner employed
by our Ashfield South PCN.
