Job summary
The Practice Finance Manager will manage and coordinate all aspects of practice finances, including payroll, optimising efficiency and financial performance, ensuring the organisation
achieves its long-term objectives. To provide support and oversee the maximisation of both enhanced
services and QOF achievements, reporting to the GP Principal. To ensure the practice meets the standards necessary for ongoing
registration with the Care Quality Commission. To take the lead role in development and adherence to practice risk
management procedures and protocols. Interviews will take place w/c 18th May'26.
Main duties of the job
Manage practice
finances, maximising income and reducing expenditure. Ensure
invoices are paid within the given time frame. Maintain
an effective system for the handling of petty cash. Submit
year-end figures, liaising with the organisations accountant. Manage
and oversee the organisations pension scheme, retaining accurate records. Manage
GPs drawings. Manage
and oversee PAYE. Maintain an effective
working relationship with the ICB and PCN, ensuring the organisation receives a
proportionate and equitable allocation of resources. Ensure that Enhanced Service and QOF achievements have
been maximised. Ensure the enhanced services claims are completed and submitted
in a timely manner through CQRS system or invoicing. Undertake all mandatory
training. Ensure all servicing and maintenance is completed as required
About us
An opportunity has arisen for a Practice Finance Manager to join our friendly team due to retirement. We are a well organised practice in Rastrick, Brighouse, who strive to consistently provide high quality care to all our patients. Our growing list size currently stands at over 5100 patients. We offer excellent appointment access without telephone triage and our patient feedback is consistently positive.
The practice is a member of Calderdale ICB, Pennine GP Alliance, and the Lower Valley Primary Care Network.
The hours are 15 hrs p/w, Monday- Wednesday. However there maybe some flexibility for the successful applicant.
