Job summary
The Red Practice in Walton-On-Thames is a friendly, well
established, growing practice and we are looking for a part time Medical Receptionist for 25hours per week,
Shift patterns are a mix of mornings and afternoons - 8am-1pm or 1.30-6.30pm
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be
flexible to work, be confident in communicating with our patients
and show a willingness to learn and team work. Experience with IT systems such
as Microsoft Office, along with customer experience is essential. Previous
experience in an administrative role or working in the health sector would be
desirable.
You would be based
on reception, you will be face to face with patients, answering telephone
calls, booking appointments, assisting patients with enquiries and supporting
Doctors and Nurses during the demands of the surgery. There will be back office based duties including processing post, actioning tasks from
Doctors, scanning documents onto patient records and registering new patients and other tasks you will be trained up to doing.
