Job summary
The Red Practice in Walton-On-Thames is a friendly, well established, growing practice and we are looking for a part time Practice Nurse for 16-20hours per week over 2-3days, and are willing to be flexible for the right candidate.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be:

Proficient with EMIS to consult with patients and offer the best
possible health care to all patients.
·
Aware of
QOF and the necessary skills relating to this and in particular will be
proficient in handling traditional treatment room tasks (e.g. child/adult
immunisations, Travel vaccinations, cervical cytology, Dressings and wound-care
management, Family planning, BP monitoring) in addition to long-term conditions
management (e.g. diabetes, asthma)

Innovative, enthusiastic and caring.
·
Hard-working, committed, an experienced Practice Nurse who will
play an active role within our team to maintain our values and help develop
patient services in the future.

Open to further skills development and take part in clinical
meetings.
·
Available for Working hours and days: 16-20hours over 2-3days
·
Offer of employment is subject to satisfactory pre-employment
checks, including, but not limited to, NMC registration, DBS certificate,
relevant certificates/training.

About us
The RED PRACTICE IS:
· High QOF achieving GMS practice with list size of over 10,000
· Currently Two GP partners and Four salaried GPs, PCN Pharmacists, PCN Mental Health and wellbeing support worker
· 3-4 Part Time practice nurses, 2 HCAs and a friendly team of Admin staff including Secretaries, Clinical coders and Receptionists.
· Online Digital Triage -using Footfall, LIVI, AccuRX
· Paper light practice using EMISWEB, Electronic Prescribing and DOCMAN 10
· Working from a Health Centre which is shared with two other independent practices
· Have access to Paramedic Home visiting team
· Rated as Good by CQC
· Member of the Walton Practices Confederation PCN with in-house Clinical Pharmacists and Social Prescriber.
