will be:

EMIS and all aspects of General Practice Reception.
- Ideally this will be a welcomed post by a Senior receptionist or an experienced receptionist of 1+more years in General Practice.
- Innovative, forward thinking, enthusiastic and caring.
- Hard-working,
committed, have UK based General Practice experience who will play an active role
within our team to maintain our values and help develop patient services in the
future.
- Open to further
skills development and take part in meetings.
- Offer of

Main duties of the job
- Emails responses and actions for all emails received on practice and personal work email
- Pathology Allocating unmatched - daily
- 111 Calls allocation
- Insurance Reports allocating to GPs as they are received, sending off completed reports, sending invoices for completed reports
- Requests for copies of medical records
- GP2GP following registrations, records to be filed
- Adding all clinical staff appointments on EMIS at least 6weeks in advance
- Recording holidays (Reception staff)
- Reception Staff Rota Weekly
- Staff emergency absences and cover
- Signing off all overtime sheets
- Communicate all changes to payroll
- Stock ordering
- PCSE stock ordering
- Smear results recall
- Breast screening
- Training newer staff
- Smartcard access and new starter - via Smartcard portal
- Carers Grant access
- Carers Register Maintain the effective running of this register
- Transport (bookings)
- Cervical Screening Open Exeter
- Childhood Imms keeping all registers up to date and adding clinical codes for imms
- Social Media Manage correspondence on Facebook, NHS.UK and messages to patients via MJOG / AccuRX
- Telephone platform Surgery Connect Manage most effective monitoring and usage.

About us
The Red Practice in Walton-On-Thamesis a friendly, well established, growing practice and we are looking for a part or full-time experienced Reception Manager for 30-40hours per week.
The Red Practice is:
- Innovative, forward thinking, well organised practice
- High QOF achieving GMS practice with list size of over 10,800
- Currently 2 GP partners and 3 Salaried GPs
- Part Time practice nurses, 1 HCA, 2 phlebotomists and a friendly team of Admin staff including Secretaries, Clinical coders and Receptionists.
- Online Digital Triage - using, AccuRX Triage
- Paper light practice using EMISWEB, Electronic Prescribing and DOCMAN 10
- Working from a Health Centre which is shared with two other independent practices
- Rated as Good by CQC
- Member of the Walton Practices Confederation PCN with in-house Clinical Pharmacists and Social Prescriber, Mental Health Support Worker, Care Coordinator and GP Assistant
