As the PCN matures, we are now in need of more support in the management team to coordinate, organise and check progress on various PCN contract requirements. This vacancy is to work in an admin role alongside the PCN management team which supports Ely PCNs six practices in East Cambridgeshire.
The successful candidate will play a
crucial role in the
efficient operation of Ely PCNs and will provide assistance to ensure timely
task completion.
Responsibilities will include liaising with practice colleagues, preparing reports/data, tracking key performance indicators, and
facilitating communication between different stakeholders. Experience in a similar role within the NHS or Primary Care setting would be desirable.
Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate experience and excellence in:
- Being organised
- Completing tasks
- Communication - written and verbal
- IT skills (MS Office apps)

Ely PCNs is a
network of six GP Practices in East Cambridgeshire, which together look after
82,000 patients. We support an additional 50 staff, including Social
Prescribers, First Contact Physios, Care Coordinators, Health and Wellbeing
Coaches, Pharmacy Technicians, and Clinical Pharmacists.
Ely PCNs has a
full-time manager, a Lead Nurse, and GP Leads for Diabetes, Frailty, Heart
Failure, and Mental Health. We have two forward-thinking Clinical Directors and
excellent relationships with our local partner organisations.
We have a
reputation as an innovative PCN that can successfully deliver. Initiatives we
support include an infant feeding support project for new parents, a project
for young people who have experienced domestic violence, and a rapid-response
substance misuse worker, and a community heart failure clinic, as well as
facilitating an Enhanced Access out of hours service and the local Covid
vaccination programmes.
