Blackwater Medical Centre, Maldon (Essex)
Blackwater Medical Centre is seeking a Salaried GP for 46 sessions per week to join our friendly and supportive team.
We are a semi-rural practice located in the historic town of Maldon, with a registered list size of approximately 13,500 patients. The practice benefits from easy access to the A12, with good links to Chelmsford, Colchester, and Brentwood.

The post holder will work as part of the GP team to provide high-quality, patient-centred primary medical care to the practice population.
Key responsibilities include:

Providing general medical services to registered patients, including:

Face-to-face, telephone, and online consultations
-
Home visits where appropriate
-
Managing acute and chronic medical conditions in line with current NICE and local guidelines
-
Undertaking clinical assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and referrals
-
Prescribing safely and appropriately within NHS and local formulary guidance
-
Reviewing pathology and investigation results and taking appropriate action
-
Contributing to the management of patients with long-term conditions
-
Working collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team (GPs, nurses, ANPs, paramedics, pharmacists, and allied professionals)

Participating in clinical meetings, practice meetings, and MDT discussions
-
Supporting quality improvement, QOF, and enhanced services
-
Maintaining accurate and timely clinical records
-
Contributing to the safe-guarding of children and vulnerable adults in line with practice and statutory policies

Engaging in clinical audit, learning events, and reflective practice
