GP Direct (part of Sphere PCN) is looking for applicants interested in five sessions per week to work in a high performing practice within Harrow. You will be a highly motivated and dedicated newly qualified GP to join our multidisciplinary team under the NHS Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS).

Individuals are only eligible to apply if they have obtained their CCT within the last two years (at the point of recruitment) and have not previously been employed as a GP in general practice.

We are seeking a motivated GP to join our supportive practice team. The role requires MRCGP, strong clinical and communication skills, and a commitment to safe, high-quality care. Duties include consultations (face-to-face, telephone, home visits), on-call sessions, repeat prescriptions, and clinical administration. Youll also join the evening clinic and Saturday rota. Working autonomously, you will assess undifferentiated problems, manage disease protocols, develop care plans, promote health, prescribe safely, and maintain high-quality records. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to continuity of care, effective referrals, audits, and the overall success of the practice.

In general, the post-holder will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.

Main duties of the job

We are seeking a motivated and committed GP to join our welcoming and supportive practice team. You must hold MRCGP and bring excellent clinical and communication skills, with a clear focus on delivering safe, high-quality patient care.

The role offers a varied workload, including face-to-face and telephone consultations, home visits, on-call sessions, repeat prescriptions, and managing clinical queries and correspondence promptly. You will also take part in the evening clinic and Saturday morning rota with fellow GPs.

You will be expected to work independently in assessing patients with undifferentiated or undiagnosed problems, identifying risk factors, and developing care plans in line with practice protocols. Duties also include counselling, health promotion, prescribing within formulary guidance, keeping accurate and timely records, and contributing data for audits.

You will be expected to support the practice in maintaining its high achievements in QOF and Enhanced Services.

As a valued member of the team, you will help support continuity of care, make appropriate referrals, and play an active role in the success of the practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a GP who values teamwork, clinical excellence, and making a real difference in primary care.
