Main duties of the job

• Perform venepuncture and capillary collection techniques on patients of all ages.
• Ensure patient identification and comfort during the blood collection procedure.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all procedures and specimens collected.
• Educate patients on the blood collection process and answer any questions they may have.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment.
• Assist in the labelling and processing of specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide timely and efficient patient care.
