Job summary
Bewick Road Surgery is a busy Practice with approximately 8,000 patients. We are currently
looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated person to join our reception team, to provide an efficient and professional service to patients.
The contracted hours will be agreed and set out in the contract of employment, however the Practice can be flexible between 34.5 and 37.5 hours per week.
NHS experience is desirable.
Starting salary for the post will be between £12.51 and £12.75 per hour (awaiting formal approval).

Main duties of the job
Receive, assist
and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare
professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way in a busy environment.
Provide general
assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to
patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone.

We are a team consisting of 5 GP partners, a nurse practitioner, practice nurse and 2 healthcare assistants, as well as a full team of reception, admin and managerial staff.
