Main duties of the job
Autonomous patient care: Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients across a wide range of clinical presentations.
Prescribing and medication management: Independently prescribe and review medications within your scope of practice.
Clinical leadership: Provide guidance, supervision, and support to junior staff and contribute to service development.
Multidisciplinary collaboration: Work closely with doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
Audit, research, and quality improvement: Participate in audits, service evaluation, and projects to enhance patient outcomes.
Education and development: Contribute to teaching, mentoring, and ongoing professional development of the team

Main duties include, Comprehensive assessment, diagnosis,
management and follow-up of patients presenting with acute and chronic
conditions
Prescribing or managing medication for patients Independent
Prescriber status required
Working autonomously within agreed clinical governance
frameworks, with access to clinical supervision as needed
Supporting the wider practice team: liaising with GPs,
nurses, other clinical staff, admin ensuring continuity of care
Maintaining accurate patient records in line with NHS / CQC
standards
Participating in quality improvement, audit, referral
decisions, and clinical governance
