Job summary

We are a long-established practice with a very friendly and supportive team serving in the region of 22,000 patients from our 3 sites in Biggleswade, Sandy and Langford. This role is based at our Biggleswade Health Centre site, which is under a 5-minute walk from the train station and bus stops.

The Clinical Administrator role is part of our Coding Team. The team is made up of 5 clinical administrators, a team leader and a manager. You will be working in a very busy practice.

Main duties of the job

  1. Sorting, scanning and uploading incoming clinical documentation (e.g. hospital letters, clinical emails, information received from patients etc).
  2. Accurately entering relevant data from clinical correspondence into the electronic medical records of patients
  3. Distributing clinical correspondence to relevant colleagues, as necessary
  4. Maintaining the coding accuracy of the electronic medical records of patients
  5. Participating in monthly department meetings
  6. Participate in monthly Practice protected learning sessions
