We are delighted to offer an opportunity for a Receptionist to join our CQC Outstanding GP Practice as part of a maternity cover position starting April 2026. Main duties of the job
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing a welcoming and professional service both in person and over the telephone and online. You'll be responsible for handling appointment bookings, signposting patients to the right services, managing enquiries, and supporting the clinical team with a range of administrative tasks. This includes maintaining accurate records, processing documentation, and helping ensure the smooth day to day running of the practice.
The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and efficient in a busy environment. You'll play an important part in delivering excellent patient care and supporting the overall operations of the practice.
