Lambgates Health Centre are looking to recruit a further full time 30 hours per week Paramedic to provide a high-quality service to our patients.
Working days Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
Working:-
2 early shifts 9.30 5:00 (1/2 unpaid lunch)
2 late shifts 10:00 18:30 (1/2 unpaid lunch)
Main duties of the job
- The role will be to provide a specialist Paramedic resource for health care professionals and service users, working in collaboration with other members of the Multidisciplinary Team.
- To work as part of a clinical team, with GPs, ANPs, MHP Practice Nurses, and Healthcare Assistants within the practice.
- To be responsible for seeing patients within the practice and visiting patients in their home, who present with a wide range of minor illness, urgent and same day requests for treatment and chronic disease management, providing care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care.
- The post holder will need to demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills. There will be the need to prioritise and triage the needs of patients accordingly, making any necessary referrals for investigations
- To work within the community, as an autonomous, accountable, Paramedic Practitioner, in the provision of a holistic approach for individuals including assessment, diagnosis and treatment, to deliver quality patient services.
- To assess, diagnose, treat, refer, or signpost patients who attend surgery with undifferentiated or undiagnosed condition relating to minor illness or minor injury.

We are a well-established training practice for GP registrars, foundation doctors and medical students with a growling list size of 6950 patients situated in the beautiful town of Hadfield in the High Peak of Derbyshire close to local amenities, surrounded by spectacular scenery. We have a very cohesive working relationship with Glossop Primary Care network which includes a further 4 practices.
