Job summary
We have an exciting and unique opportunity for an experienced, dynamic and motivated senior manager to join an innovative, forward thinking Practice and PCN, based within the beautiful city of York.
The successful candidate needs to demonstrate strong values of integrity, honesty and openness, with strong skills in finance and governance. This leadership role needs to support the Practice through the challenging NHS environment with an eye for opportunity and innovation.
Main duties of the job
The role is responsible for the operational management team, facilitating their development, whilst creating a positive environment to enable the team to flourish and deliver great outcomes for patients.
As innovators in the primary care field, this role allows for exciting opportunities in digital transformation and integrated models of healthcare.
This role opens opportunities for engagement with the wider health and social care stakeholders in the locality to deliver safe and quality healthcare to meet the needs of our patient population.
This chief operating role will work alongside the executive team with accountability to the partnership (board of directors) for delivery of the NHS core contractual requirements (GMS and PCN) and other contracts awarded to Priory Medical Group.

Alongside the provision of high quality primary healthcare to 58,000+ patients, the Practice holds contracts for; Training (under and postgraduate), Medical Research, School and Prison medical services, Travel healthcare and provision of Medical administrative outsourcing services.
A strong organisational structure exists within the practice with a skilled range of operational managers across HR, Digital, Med admin, Nursing, Workforce, Finance and Front of House.
We have a strong emphasis on high quality of clinical care, attaining consistently very high QOF and IIF results.
