Job summary
Forge Close is a well-established, forward thinking and friendly
practice in Bromley with a list size of around 6500 patients.
We are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic salaried GP
to work 4 sessions per week. 2 sessions would be as on-call (duty) doctor on a Friday to join our supportive clinical team.
Start date: As soon as possible
You would be joining a two partner surgery who employs
two salaried GPs and two practice nurses who offers chronic care management and
an in-house phlebotomy service with an amazing admin and reception team for
support.
We are also part of the Hayes Wick PCN and have access to an array
of diverse clinical team who either works remotely, at a third-party premises
or in-house such as Clinical Pharmacist, Physiotherapists, Mental Health
Practitioner, Social Prescribers and General Practitioner Assistant. They also
provide extended services for our surgery meaning patients' have more choice
when booking an appointment such as late evening appointments and Saturdays.
We are a paper light surgery and with high QOF achievement. We use
EMISX and DOCMAN10.
If
successful we would need 2 employment references and enhanced DBS check prior
to commencement of employment.
We
do not have an oversea visa support scheme available and will only consider
applicants located in the UK who holds the right to work in the UK
documentation.

Main duties of the job
The
Candidate is expected to undertake consultations in all clinical settings as
directed. These consultations will cover the breadth of General Medical
Services and Enhanced Service obligations. You will be expected to support the
partners in providing such services as outlined in the GMS Contract and any
other National, Directed or Local Enhanced Service agreed between the practice
and other stakeholders. In addition, contribution to the success of the
practice achieving maximum QOF points and other practice objectives will form
part of this role.
Clinical
responsibilities in accordance with the sessions mutually agreed, conducting
consultations with a blend of online consultations, telephone and face to face
consultations. You will be expected to make professional, autonomous decisions
in relation to presenting problems, assessing the health care needs of patients
with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.
The
post-holder will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities
associated with a GP working in Primary Care with clinical administrative tasks
which are but not limited to; checking and taking appropriate actions on
triaged tasks received, EMIS and DOCMAN tasks and queries, and any other means
received by the surgery, checking and completing investigation results,
referral letters, on call duty sessions.
