DAD Primary Care Network is a network of 6 practices with a list size of over 50,000 patients.
The Deputy PCN Manager/Digital Transformation role exists to support the PCN Manager and work alongside the PCN Manager to deliver the DAD Primary Care Network agenda.
The postholder will form an integral part of the PCN leadership team working closely with the Clinical Director and the PCN board members.
The postholder will act as point of expertise, coordinate the successful achievement of all governance requirements, translate national and local policy into meaningful changes, and will support practices to achieve improved outcomes for the local population.
Main duties of the job
This role is for 2/2.5 days per week (17.5 hrs (negotiable) to play a pivotal role in the delivery of high quality primary health care within DAD PCN alongside the PCN Manager. Support the DAD PCN Clinical Director and board to ensure the smooth running of the Network
To be involved in the management and development of the Network
To be responsible for the production of performance and quality reports within the Network and other Network initiatives
To be responsible for the oversight of the Networks financial systems/PCN employed staff /payments to all the practices within the Network
Ensure the PCNs compliance with the GDPR and FOI along with other relevant legislation and professional information management standards such as GMC/BMA and LMC guidance
To represent DAD PCN in cross organisation meetings when agreed e.g locality/ICFT/ICB and GM meetings
About us
Denton Primary Care Network is a collaboration of the primary care teams based at 3 Denton general medical practices - Millgate Healthcare Partnership; Guide Bridge Medical; Denton Medical Practice, and 3 Droylsden based general medical practices Market Street Medical, Droylsden Medical and Medlock Vale Medical Practice. We currently have a PCN population of over 50,000 patients and the PCN staff work in conjunction with the local general practices to support both local and national priorities working closely with our local care homes, housebound and most vulnerable patients. We ensure all our staff have regular input and training from senior management to review any educational or development needs and to support them to meet and exceed any clinical and non clinical requirements. Manage contractual requirements on behalf of the Network.

Provide operational leadership and management to PCN staff (with support of CD for clinicians) in line with HR policies & procedures.
Support recruitment, induction and training of new PCN staff.
Ensure all PCN staff are compliant who work directly for DAD inline with H&S, governance.
Conduct staff audits to provide board members with assurance of safety
Collate feedback / analysis data on behalf of the Network to report to the CCG and board members
To manage the Workflow processes in relation to the above
Ensure Network and Board Meetings are minuted and agreed actions points noted. Circulate communications in a timely manner to PMs and Network Leads
Seek income generating opportunities for DAD network
Work with all 6 practices individually by attending practice meetings or being based at practice locations on adhoc basis to extend on building relationships with practice and pcn staff .
