Main duties of the job

The Practice Nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients within a primary care setting. Key duties include running nurse-led clinics, supporting patients with long-term condition management (such as diabetes, asthma, and hypertension), and providing routine nursing services including immunisations, cervical screening, wound care, and health checks.

You will work collaboratively with GPs and the wider clinical team to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centred care. The role also involves promoting health and wellbeing, supporting patients with lifestyle advice, and maintaining accurate clinical records in line with practice protocols.

The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining high clinical standards, infection control, and continuous service improvement within the practice.
