Main duties of the job

As a salaried GP at our Coventry practice, you will provide high-quality, compassionate care to a diverse patient population. Your core duties will include conducting face-to-face and telephone consultations, managing acute and chronic conditions, and undertaking a share of on-the-day demand.

You will be responsible for clinical decision-making, prescribing, and appropriate referrals, supported by an experienced clinical and administrative team. There will also be opportunities to engage in quality improvement activities, contribute to clinical meetings, and support the wider multidisciplinary team.

Coventry GP is a well-established, two-site practice serving over 13,000 patients across Jubilee Crescent and Foleshill. As a GMS (General Medical Services) practice, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. Our team comprises five GPs, two trainee GP registrars, and two nurses, all dedicated to providing compassionate and professional medical services. We are also a teaching and training practice, committed to the development of future healthcare professionals
