Job summary

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Health Care Assistant (HCA) to join our practice team. As an HCA, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinicians and ensuring the smooth delivery of patient care. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about healthcare and keen to develop their skills in a supportive environment.

Main duties of the job

  • Performing routine health checks, including blood pressure, weight, and height measurements.

  • Taking blood samples (phlebotomy).

  • Conducting ECGs, urine testing, and other diagnostic tests as required.

  • Administering flu vaccines and assisting with immunisation clinics.

  • Supporting chronic disease management reviews under clinical supervision.

  • Providing lifestyle advice to promote health and wellbeing.

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.

  • Assisting with administrative tasks and clinic preparation
