Job summary

We are seeking a proactive, dedicated and experienced primary care professional to join our friendly, supportive GP practice. Working closely with the Practice Manager, administration and clinical teams, you will assist in managing the daily operation of the practice, ensuring the smooth, efficient and compliant running of the surgery, supporting staff and maintaining high standards of patient care.

Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities

Support day to day practice operations and promote a positive working environment

Support governance, regulatory and practice compliance with NHS, CQC, ICB, GDPR, PH, ME and safeguarding

Maintain and troubleshoot IT systems, SystmOne, Lexacom, Surgery Connect, Accurx

Support with estates issues and protocols, alarms and security, ensuring H&S compliance

Support the management of document workflows, eRS worklists, QOF, read coding, summarising, referrals and PCN communication

Ensure a high standard of patient care and satisfaction, manage complaints and patient communication

Support with initiatives to address patients health inequalities and accessibility

Maintain practice policies, protocols and SOPs

Coordinate meetings, agendas and minutes

Support staff management, including recruitment, induction, training, appraisals, leave

Maintain, monitor and review Clarity Teamnet and DSP Toolkit

Contribute to initiatives such as vaccination programmes, audits and service development to improve quality and patient care
