Job summary
We are looking for a 4-6 session salaried GP to start from 1st of April 2025.This role will also include working one day from 12-8pm and one day of being duty doctor on-call.
Main duties of the job
Core
responsibilities of the Salaried GP. There may be, on occasion, a requirement
to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload
and staffing levels:
a. The delivery of
highly effective medical care to the entitled population
b. The provision of
services commensurate with the primary care contract
c. Generic
prescribing adhering to local and national guidance
d. Effective
management of long-term conditions
e. Processing of
administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescription
requests and other associated administrative tasks
f. On a rotational
basis, undertake telephone triage and duty doctor roles
g. Maintain
accurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy and
guidance. Work collaboratively, accepting an equal share of the practice
workload
i. Adhere to best
practice recommended through clinical guidelines and the audit process

partners in achieving the strategic aims of the practice, making
recommendations to enhance income and reduce expenditure
s. Review and
always adhere to practice protocols and policies
t. Encourage
collaborative working, liaising with all staff regularly, always promoting a
culture of continuous improvement
u. Regular requirement to supervise junior clinical staff
