Job summary
Stanley Health Centre are looking for a part-time Advanced Nurse Practitioner to
act as an autonomous practitioner working independently and in conjunction with
other health care professionals to assess, diagnose and treat the conditions of
patients attending within primary care initiating direct referrals as
appropriate. To provide expert professional advice to patients, carers and
colleagues and ensure the maintenance of clinical excellence. You will be expected to provide on-call cover one day per week supported by the doctors.
Main duties of the job
The Nurse Practitioner will be providing a wide range of
health care services, treating acute and minor illnesses, chronic diseases,
triage, and contributing to the QOF requirements.
An independent prescriber able to work autonomousously and be accountable for their own professional actions.
Working one day per week on-call supported by the practice doctors.
There will be an opportunity to develop your interest and
skills in clinical areas that will benefit our patients.

between Pinderfield Hospital and the M62. It is easily accessible to M62 and M1
motorways.

practice using their expert clinical knowledge and skills. They have the
freedom and authority to act and make autonomous decisions in the assessment,
diagnosis and treatment of patients.
The post
holder works at the level of advanced clinical practice and has developed and
can evidence the underpinning competencies applicable to the specialty or
subject area, i.e., the knowledge, skills and behaviors appropriate to the healthcare
professionals (HCP) setting and job role.
The role
provides
