Job summary
We are a friendly, well organised practice in the
pretty market town of Newark. We look
after nearly 14,000 patients with our multidisciplinary team which includes
prescribing nurses, pharmacists and a paramedic. We are a training practice and as well as
registrars we host a wide range of other students including nurses and
pharmacists. We also have a diverse
administrative team including GP Assistants who help manage GP workload.
Newark has good travel links and is easily
accessible via road and rail.
We are looking for a GP who would currently like a
salaried post but may be interested in partnership in the future. We encourage and support all our staff
including Salaried GPs to develop their skills and expertise; if you have an
area you are interested in we would love to hear about it.
We would also be interested to hear from any GPs who
may be considering the Retainer Scheme or portfolio working.
We offer 6 weeks annual leave and one week CPD pro rata and can offer flexibility on working days and start and finish times.

Main duties of the job
You will work 6 to 8 sessions looking after a diverse cohort of patients and supported by the wider team of clinicians and administrators.
While you will need to be able to do home visits we have a proactive care home team and an acute home visiting service supporting this work.
The role will include being duty doctor and working extended hours on agreed evenings.
We encourage our GPs to develop their skills to enable them to provide additional services to our patients
