Job summary

Wyre Integrated Network PCN are recruiting for a Health Care Assistant to join their Enhanced Access team. The successful candidate will join a team of practices nurses, health care assistants, receptionists, GPs and ACPs offering evening appointments to patients within WIN PCN.

As this role is a bank role the successful candidate will be required to work across the 4 practices within WIN PCN. 2 Poulton-Le-Fylde practices and 2 Thornton-Cleveleys practices.

These include;

  • Beechwood Surgery
  • Lockwood GP Surgery
  • Queensway medical Centre
  • The Village Practice

The Enhanced Access service provides out of hours appointments Monday - Friday from 18:30 -20:00.

Patients are able to book these appointments through their GP Surgery.

Main duties of the job

The post holder is required to provide excellent quality care to patients registered within the Poulton-Le-Fylde and Thornton-Cleveleys practices. These appointments can include bloods, wounds, and routine checks.

Desirable

  • Phlebotomy certification
  • Vaccination certification
