Job summary
We
are looking for an enthusiastic new administrator to join our friendly
team. We currently have a team of eight receptionists and administrators,
a practice manager, seven GPs, a nurse practitioner, two practice
nurses and a clinical pharmacist.
This is an exciting opportunity for the
right person to join an enthusiastic and dedicated team and develop
their skills. We are looking for someone to start with us as soon as
possible and we would love to hear from you. This role could be
full-time or part-time by mutual agreement.
Main duties of the job
It is the role of the Office Administrator / Receptionist to support
the Practice Manager in ensuring the smooth running of the Surgery.
The
Administrator will help develop and maintain effective and efficient
office and administrative functions for the Surgery which supports
patient services and contributes to the achievement of all necessary
targets and requirements set out by the Practice Manager or Partners.
The
Administrator will contribute to the effectiveness of the team by
reflecting on own and team tasks and will make suggestions on ways to
improve and enhance the teams performance. They will promote
development and maintenance of a quality learning environment throughout
the Surgery.
The Administrator will liaise closely with the
Operations Support Manager with regards to the administrative needs of
the Surgery and other related matters.
