Job summary

THE ROLE IS FOR A CLEANER 16 HOURS PER WEEK MON- THURS 4-7.15PM, AND FRI 4-7PM.YOU WILL WORK ALONGSIDE A TEAM MEMBER AND TOGETHER YOU WILL CLEAN THE SURGERY FOLLOWING SET SCHEDULES.

Main duties of the job

Introduction

The cleanliness of any health care environment is important to support infection control and ensure patient confidence. Cleaning staff play a very important role in improving the quality of the care environment.

The aims of this cleaning plan

  • To assist manor Court Surgery in promoting confidence amongst patients, their carers and staff and that the facilities are clean and fit for purpose
  • To support good infection and control practices
  • To provide assurance to their commissioners and regulators that the environments from which this provider delivers healthcare services are clean and fit for purpose.

The objectives of this cleaning plan

  • To identify the cleaning requirements of the Practice
  • To set out and implement a plan that meets the cleaning requirements
  • To identify and allocate resources efficiently and effectively
  • To set out and implement a quality assurance process by which the Practice can monitor progress
  • To ensure the standards of cleanliness achieved meet the expectations.

Location of Service: Manor Court Surgery, 5 Manor Court Avenue, Nuneaton CV11 5HX

The Cleaning Team will perform weekly audits to include:

Cleaning Standards (via tablet & software)

Health & Safety Sweep (via tablet & software)

Flushing Records (via tablet & software)
