Associates along with our already diverse and experienced clinical team to help

Main duties of the job
You will be based at one site, have strong links to
the PCN wide PA team and be part of the wider PCN clinical team.
You will see adults and children presenting with new
and ongoing acute and long-term conditions. You will support them through
initial history taking, examination, investigation, diagnosis, treatment,
referrals and ongoing support. You will work with supervision.
You will work closely with our in-house clinical and
non-clinical team to ensure excellent provision of healthcare for our patients.
You will be committed to the health needs of diverse
of diverse and deprived inner-city practices.
Training and development is second nature to our
organisation and this applies to all our staff. We encourage areas of special
interest and expect the team to participate in projects and audits, to improve
our services and health of patients, protected time is provided.

We are a

care medical services in Manchester. We operate three GP practices: The Robert
Darbishire Practice in Rusholme Health Centre (which is also head office) and
which has a branch at The University of Manchester, Brooklands Medical Practice
in Wythenshawe, and The Whitswood Practice in Alexandra Park Health Centre. In
total we have over 44,000 patients.
Our patients are
very diverse and include established communities as well as new communities
from all over the world. We have good links with the University and a sizeable
student population.
Our staff team of
about 120 people has a great mix of skills and experience. We have exciting
plans to expand this team even more, to help us further our mission to improve
lives.

The post is part-time
(22.5 hours over 3 days) and will be mostly based at The Robert Darbishire
Practice, although you will also need to be able to travel to our other sites
as needed. The usual working hours are between 9am 6pm.
Salary will be in
the range £46148 to £48526 pro rata (full-time is 37.5 hours), depending on experience. We
offer membership of the NHS Pension Scheme and 5.4-6.6 weeks' holiday
(depending on NHS service) plus bank holidays (pro rata). (The post is not
subject to Agenda for Change terms and conditions.)

- Postgraduate Diploma/Masters level qualification in Physician Associate/Advanced Practice (or equivalent).
- Registration on the GMC Register for PAs and GMC number.
