sessions each for 1 year to help cover maternity leave.
Park Medical Group - PMG is a well-established, medium sized practice, about 13,000 patients, in the
North Gosforth Area of Newcastle. We are set over two sites and our team
includes doctors - a mix of partners, salaried GPs and GP Residents, Advanced
clinical practitioners, nurses, health care assistants, nurse associates as
well as a wide variety of allied health professionals through our successful
and cohesive PCN.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for 2 salaried GPs working 5 sessions each for 1 year to help cover maternity leave.
We offer
Weekly, scheduled CPD time
Only the on- call GP provides home visits alongside a very proactive PCN home visiting team
Experienced administrative, secretarial and reception teams
Attractive rate of pay and T&Cs
Practice is rated CQC 'Good'
Long history of being a training practice
The practice currently offers contraceptive services, joint injections and more as well as all core services
Registered in the 'Active Practice' scheme
Signed up to the 'Green Toolkit'
EMIS web but moving over to System1 in the next few months
The two sites are close geographically
Mentorship available
Allied health professionals provided through the PCN include pharmacists, social prescribing link workers and a home visiting service

We believe that looking after ourselves is key to providing excellent care to our patients. We have 15-minute appointments in our face-to-face clinics and see 13 patients. We meet for coffee every morning and have regular clinical meetings spread throughout the week.
