Job summary

We are seeking a full time Practice Nurse to join our exprienced Nursing team. This role includes long term condition management, cytology screening, vaccinations, health promotion. Experience of working in General Practice is preferred but not essential as training will be given to the successful applicant. This job is a permanent contract.

Main duties of the job

The successful applicant must be a registered nurse and have current NMC registration. The main duties are to provide general nursing services and support the GP's, Nurses at Whitehall Surgery.

About us

Whitehall Surgery has a patient list size of 8600, we work from Wortley Beck Health Centre in Lower Wortley Leeds 12 which has on site parking. Our friendly team includes our Practice Manager, GP Partners, Salaried GP's, Nurse Practitioner, Nurses , Health Care Assistants, Administrative and Reception staff. We are supported by our Primary Care Network Team which includes Pharmacists, Physiotherapists and Social Prescribers. We are a Systm One Practice.

We are looking for a full time Practice Nurse. The successful candidate will hold current NMC registration. We are looking for a nurse who is enthusiastic, organised and confident to work unsupervised in a treatment room. An Enhanced DBS check will be required for this role. The post is not open to candidates from outside the UK as we are not able to offer visa sponsership. Duties include, Phlebotomy, Asthma checks, Diabetes checks, COPD checks, Cervical Screening, ECG's, Annual reviews, Travel Vaccinations, Child Vaccinations, Long term condition management. Attend and participate in training and meetings as required.
