Job summary
We are looking to employ an experienced practice nurse to join our friendly team at Filey Surgery. The post will largely centre around the management of long-term conditions and as such it is essential that perspective candidates have appropriate qualifications and experience in the management of diabetes and respiratory conditions. We are a training practice and encourage development of all our staff and we are committed to staff wellbeing and providing a supportive workplace.
The working pattern for the role will be 22 - 28 hours over 3 - 4 days.
Main duties of the job
The practice nurse is tasked with delivering nursing services and works as a member of the practice's multidisciplinary team, providing care within their scope to the designated patient population. Responsibilities include various clinical areas including health promotion, effective management of patients with long term conditions, preventative health, wound management and any other primary care nursing including in our contract.
