Salaried GP (Newly Qualified or Experienced)

4 sessions per week (Tuesdays and Fridays)

Start date: As soon as possible

We are a supportive and progressive practice looking to welcome a newly qualified or experienced Salaried GP who is motivated to develop their clinical skills and contribute to high-quality patient care.

The post-holder will manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.

Working Pattern

  • 4 clinical sessions per week

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Undertake a range of clinical consultations including:
    • Face-to-face appointments
    • Telephone consultations
    • Online/digital consultations
  • Provide safe, evidence-based care to the registered patient population
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
  • Prescribe in accordance with local and national guidelines
  • Refer patients appropriately to secondary care or other services
  • Maintain accurate, contemporaneous clinical records using SystmOne

We are a friendly semi-rural training practice located within the Sherwood PCN, set in the picturesque historic village of Edwinstowe in the heart of Sherwood Foresthome of the legendary Major Oak. The practice benefits from excellent transport links to Nottingham, Mansfield, Newark, the A1 and M1.

Our patient list size is approximately7,200, supported by a dedicated and collaborative multidisciplinary team.
