Job summary

We are an organised, long standing surgery with an extremely good reputation looking for a motivated and hard working GP(s) who would like to join us. We are flexible on the sessions and will also consider a job share.

The post(s) may also suit a GP wishing to sign up to the Retainer scheme in Wales.

The sessions will be worked at either our Broughton or Buckley practice.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated GP with high clinical standards.

To be a GP in Wales you must be on the Welsh Performers list.

Immediate start available.

Main duties of the job

Full aspects of general practice including assessing patients either on the telephone, via an electronic format, face to face in surgery or in a patients on home. Working closely within our multi-disciplinary team, undertaking clinical duties in line with GMC and RCGP standards.

Visiting / duty doctor as per the rota.

Clinical and Administration tasks associated with the role.

About us

We are a high achieving training practice, based over 2 sites situated on the welsh border close to Chester. The practice is well supported by an extended multi-disciplinary team, is well organised and totally committed to patient care.

We currently hold the contract to carry out vasectomies for the whole of North Wales.

We have in excess of 15,300 patients which are split equally over the 2 sites. Our GPs are fully supported by an extended clinical and admin team including 2 ANPs, 8 Practice Nurses and 2 HCAs.

We are a training practice for both GP Registrars and Medical Students.
