Job summary
We
are a progressive and well-established GP practice situated in the scenic
outskirts of Bath. As our patient list continues to grow, we are looking for a
highly organised and motivated Project, Quality & Compliance Lead to join
our friendly, supportive team.
This
is a brand-new role, designed to strengthen our governance processes, ensure
CQC inspection readiness, and support delivery of key projects across the
practice. Youll be based across our two sites in Combe Down and Odd Down,
working closely with the management team and clinical staff to ensure the
practice remains safe, compliant, and future-focused.

at Odd Down in the south of Bath.

are rated Outstanding by the CQC, care for over 14,000 patients, and are proud
to deliver innovative, patient-centred care. We operate an AccuRx total triage
model and work closely with our Minerva PCN colleagues, benefitting from a
strong pharmacy team, paramedic home visiting service, and a wide range of ARRS

This is a varied and evolving role, with responsibilities including (but not limited to):
- Writing, reviewing, and tracking policies, SOPs, and audits
- Supporting CQC preparation to ensure inspection readiness at all times
- Oversight and administration of complaints, significant events, and data breaches
- Acting as Information Governance Lead and coordinating the Data Security Toolkit
- Supporting infection prevention control and health & safety compliance, including risk assessments (COSHH, legionella, fire)
- Coordinating learning meetings and ensuring actions are embedded
- Supporting the Patient Participation Group (PPG) and collating patient feedback and compliments
- Providing project support for practice-wide initiatives and improvements
- Support the Practice Manager in day-to-day operational and strategic activities

- A solutions-focused approach and strong attention to detail
- Experience in a compliance, governance, quality, or project-focused role
Desirable
- Previous experience in a GP practice, NHS, or regulated healthcare setting
- Knowledge of CQC standards and inspection preparation
- Experience with audits, data analysis, and reporting
- Formal training in project management or quality/compliance (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, ISO) is an advantage but not essential
