Job summary
The Cambridge Practice are currently recruiting within our Patient Services Team.
We have full time positions available at 37.5 hours per week, 08:00am starts and 18:30pm finishes, Monday to Friday.
Rate of pay is discussed as part of the interview process.
Applicant with previous experience on the systems we use is desirable but not essential as training is provided in house.

Main duties of the job
The Post holder
will:- Act as the central point of contact for patients,
distribution of information, messages, and enquiries for the clinical team.- Liaising with multidisciplinary team members and
external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers.
- You will use computer systems to capture patient
information along with being expected to demonstrate self-directed learning and
practice.
- Working quickly and calmly as a call handler.
- Take essential details about the patient's condition
by asking relevant questions using a pre triage protocol and documenting the
information onto the clinical records.- Actively signpositing patients to the most appropriate
source of care.- The systems we use at our Practice are Emis web, Docman, Bright HR, Bluestream and QCS - an applicant with previous experience on these systems is desirable but not essential as training is provided in house.

We are Aldershot's largest GP Practice,
supporting the healthcare needs of over 22,000 patients in the local area. We
are located at two sites with our main surgery at Aldershot Centre for Health
and a branch surgery on Lower Farnham Road.
The Cambridge Practice have a variety of Clinical
staff who support us in ensuring we are working in partnership with patients, staff, and our
community to improve health and wellbeing for all. We are deeply involved within our community and often hold fundraising events, to raise money and awareness for local charities.
