Main duties of the job

In this role, youll be using your clinical expertise to support patients in a variety of ways. From managing chronic diseases like asthma, diabetes, and hypertension, to offering womens health services such as smears and contraception, youll play a key role in delivering essential care. Youll also have the chance to provide vaccinations and carry out treatments such as wound care, ECGs, and ear syringing. We believe in empowering our nurses, so youll be encouraged to take the lead in health promotion, including NHS health checks, smoking cessation, and sexual health testing. Youll be an integral member of a dedicated and supportive multidisciplinary team, ensuring that nursing services are delivered effectively to meet the needs of our diverse patient population.   • Chronic Disease Management: Provide care for patients with chronic conditions, ensuring treatment plans are effective and based on current evidence. This includes managing conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and COPD, with a focus on prevention and health promotion.
