About us
Beechwood Medical Centre is a training practice of about 10,000+ patients. We are very forward thinking and have spent the past few years developing the team, both clinical and non-clinical to deliver a great service. We are part of the North Halifax PCN and are a single site practice. The patients at our surgery are highly dependent of the healthcare they receive, and we serve quite a deprived area of the town. We are rated by the CQC as a GOOD practice, and we are committed to delivering the type of general practice expected by our patient population.
We have a great mix of clinical staff working at our surgery including 2 partners, 3 salaried GPs an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and a Physician Associate as well as a team of Practice Nurses and Health Care Assistant. We also have a great administration team led by the Practice Operations Management. We are very proud of what we have achieved and what we currently deliver but we now want a new Practice Nurse to help us to continue to improve the practice, espicially in the management of long term conditions.
