We are seeking an experienced HR professional to provide join our team on a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover. The HR Officer will support the HR Partner and managers in delivering a comprehensive HR administrative and operational service across the practice, ensuring effective support across the employee lifecycle.

Working Pattern: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Main duties of the job
Main
duties & responsibilities:
The HR Officer will provide comprehensive HR administrative & support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring effective HR processes & compliance within the practice.
Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate staff records in line with GDPR requirements, preparing contracts & variation letters, supporting recruitment activities including advertising roles, coordinating interviews, & conducting pre-employment checks.
The role will oversee onboarding & offboarding processes, ensuring new starter documentation, inductions & leaver procedures are completed in accordance with practice policies.
Maintain mandatory training & appraisal records, monitor compliance, & issue timely reminders to staff and managers
Supporting absence management, maternity & family leave administration, maintaining HR systems, leave management platforms to ensure accurate workforce data. The role will assist with payroll and contract changes, maintain workforce compliance records for CQC requirements,& produce HR reports & workforce metrics.
The post holder will also provide administrative support in employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, & capability cases, maintaining confidential documentation & case files.
Responsibilities may also include monitoring visa sponsorship records where applicable, supporting ARRS onboarding processes, and assisting with updates to HR policies in line with employment law & practice needs.

professional HR service to managers and staff in person, via email or other
written correspondence as well as over the phone while supporting the
maintenance of HR systems or databases, policies and protocols.
Main
duties & responsibilities
Filing, scanning,
upload relevant records, ensuring staff records are maintained and that
periodic tidying up of records is undertaken in line with current GDPR policies
