Job summary

Would you like to work for a practice that is forward-thinking, embraces the challenges of modern General Practice and aims to provide innovative services? If so, we would love to hear from you as we have TWO Fixed TermMATERNITY LEAVE cover vacancies for a GP to work 4 and 5 sessions a week.

Post 1: 4 Sessions a week (Thursday and Friday) for 14 months:

Start date: w/c 23rd June 2025

End date: w/e 28th August 2026

Post 2: 5 Sessions a week (Monday, Tuesday and Friday) for 12 months

Start date: w/c 23rd June 2025

End date: w/e 3rd July 2026

Our group is part of Our Health Partnership, one of the UKs biggest GP partnerships, with the aim to provide better healthcare for patients and better support for GP practices in the West Midlands area.

Main duties of the job

  • 13 appts am and 13 appts pm
  • Pro-rata share of clinical admin (resident pharmacists take lions share of scripts)
  • Pro-rata share of full day triage/duty Dr session
  • Protected coffee break mid-morning

About us

Yardley Wood Health Centre has:

A clinical team of 3 partners, 6 salaried GPs, 1 PCN Paramedic, 1 Practice Paramedic, 3 Practice Nurses, 2 HCA's, 1 Phlebotomist, 1 GPA and 2 PCN Pharmacists.

We have a fully embedded digital front door through the use of AccuRx and we use a doctor first triage model giving you flexibility with how you organise the structure of your clinics.
