Park View Group Practice is a large and innovative Practice.
We have 7 GP Partners, supported by a large nursing team, pharmacy team, and non-clinical team to provide the best care possible for over 10000 patients.
We are also a member of Tame Valley Primary Care Network, and the Practice is supported by care co-ordinators and health coaches.
37.5 working hours across Monday-Friday between the hours of 8am to 8pm. The shifts will be a mixture of early/lates.
- These hours include a 20 minute paid lunch/break.
Main duties of the job
To
be responsible for undertaking a wide range of reception duties and the
provision of general support to the multidisciplinary team. Duties can include but are not limited to, greeting
and directing patients, effective use of the appointment system, booking
appointments, processing of information, and assisting patients as
required. To act as the central point of
contact for patients, the distribution of information, messages, and enquiries
for the clinical team liaising with multidisciplinary team members and
external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers.
The post holder will also be responsible for undertaking a wide range of secretarial and administrative
duties and the provision of administrative support to the multidisciplinary
team. Duties can include but are not limited to, the processing of information
(electronic and hard copy) in a timely manner, liaising with multidisciplinary
team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service
providers and in accordance with current policies, including the use of the
electronic referral service (ERS).

Park View Group Practice is based in Reddish, Stockport and our Practice boundary covers Stockport, Denton, and Tameside.

and monitoring the practice appointment system
b.
Process
personal, telephone, and e-requests for appointments
c.
Answer
incoming phone calls, transfer calls or deal with the caller's request
appropriately

Signpost
patients to the correct service

Initiating
contact with and responding to, requests from patients, team members, and
external agencies

Read
code data on EMIS Web
g.
Photocopy
documentation as required
h.
Data
entry of new and temporary registrations and relevant patient information as
required

Input
data into the patient’s healthcare records as necessary

Direct
requests for information i.e. SAR, insurance/solicitors letters, and DVLA
forms to the administrative team

Manage
all queries as necessary in an efficient manner
