Job summary
We are seeking a qualified General Practice Assistant (GPA) to join our friendly and supportive team. This role is designed to enhance patient care and improve practice efficiency by supporting GPs with both clinical and administrative tasks.
Main duties of the job
Assist GPs with administrative duties and patient documentation.
Perform basic clinical observations and health checks.
Support appointment management and patient flow.
Help with referrals and care coordination.
Contribute to improving patient experience and practice processes
About us
Brookvale Practice looks after a population of 8700 patients, we are situated in Runcorn which has close motorway links to Manchester, Liverpool, and North Wales.
Our excellent clinical team consists of 10 GPs , 1 Clinical Pharmacist, 2 Practice Nurses, 1 Nurse Associate , extended clinical ARRS roles including , Clinical Pharmacist and Pharmacy Technician alongside GPAs with 12 supportive reception and administration staff.
The successful candidate will join our friendly, supportive, innovative team and share our ethos and approach of putting patients first. We are a highly regarded training practice rated as Good by CQC following our inspection visit in November 2023. We use EMIS Web.
