Job summary
We are seeking a friendly, organised, and reliable Secretary to join our busy General Practice team on a part-time basis of 27 hours.
We are looking for a working pattern Monday- Friday 9am-2.30pm
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:

Provide secretarial and administrative support to doctors, consultants, and clinical staff.

Manage incoming calls, emails, and appointment bookings in a courteous and efficient manner.

Accurately type and format medical correspondence, reports, and patient notes (including audio typing).

Liaise with patients, hospitals, laboratories, and other healthcare providers.
-
Maintain confidential medical records and ensure data entry is accurate and up to date.
-
Process referrals, test results, prescriptions, and other medical documentation.

Ensure compliance with data protection (GDPR) and clinical confidentiality standards.
