Job summary
We are looking to recruit a flexible, reliable Receptionist/Administrator to join our team on a permanent basis.
Main duties of the job
Main Purpose of the Job: To undertake reception and administrative duties as required to enable the practice to deliver a quality service to our patients.
Duties and Responsibilities to Include:
- Maintaining and monitoring the practice appointments system
- Care Navigate Patients to the most appropriate Clinician/Service
- Process and distribute incoming mail
- Manning the Switchboard
- Taking messages and passing on information
- Processing Patient requests for repeat prescriptions
To provide cover for members of the administrative team during periods of sickness and annual leave.

Your salary is guaranteed to be above the national minimum wage
You will receive 6 weeks annual leave
You will be auto enrolled into the NHS Pension

Surgery Opening Times:
Mon: 8am 6pm
Tue: 8am 6pm
Wed: 8am 6pm
Thu: 8am 12.30pm
Start Date: Immediate
Holiday Entitlement: 6 weeks
Job Location: Manor and Park Group (2 sites)
Accountable to: Managing Partner
Main Purpose of the Job: Undertake reception and administrative duties as required to enable the practice to deliver a quality service to our patients
Essential Requirements:
- Previous Reception experience an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given
- DBS clearance
- Driving Licence and access to own car to enable working at both of our sites.
- Must be flexible to cover colleagues sickness and annual leave
- Previous knowledge of the SystmOne Clinical System would be an advantage.
