One of our amazing ANPs is moving out of the area so we are looking to recruit an ANP to join our team
This is a part time post working 30 hours a week - worked over 3-4 days

Main duties of the job
- Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate treatment/intervention and care for patients presenting with an undifferentiated diagnosis to diverse patient population including children
- Clinically examine and assess patient needs from a physiological and psychological perspective, and plan clinical care accordingly.
- Managing and referring patients as appropriate in line with practice and local CCG clinical policy.
- Prescribing in line with Practice and local ICB Clinical Policy and within scope of practice.
- All related paperwork and other normal duties associated with being an Advanced Nurse Practitioner.
- Ensure clinical practice is safe and effective and remains within boundaries of competence and to acknowledge limitations.
Administration and professional responsibilities:
- Ensure that you are entitled to practice and maintain your NMC registration and re-validation.
- Participate in the administrative and professional responsibilities of the Practice team.
- Ensure accurate and legible notes of all consultations and treatments are recorded in the patients notes.
- Ensure the clinical computer system is kept up to date with accurate details recorded and amended.
- Ensure accurate completion of all necessary documentation associated with patient health care.

- Registered Nurse with Nursing and Midwifery Council
- Masters degree required for qualification post December 2020 refer to RCN Credentialing for Advanced Level of Nursing Practice.
- Post graduate diploma or degree for Advanced Practice Qualification up to December 2020
- Qualified Independent Nurse Prescriber on the NMC register
- Meets NMC revalidation requirements in accordance with the NMC Revalidation booklet
- Meets the standards for registered ANP working at advanced level
Experience
Desirable
- Experience of working in Primary Care / GP Practice
- Experience of working in community setting
- Clinical knowledge and skills including
- Requesting and processing pathology tests and advising patients accordingly referrals to secondary care / advice and guidance as appropriate.
- Womens health (cervical cytology, contraception, peri/menopausal )
- Conducting consultations for LTC exacerbations such as diabetes, COPD, Asthma, Hypertension, CKD, CHD - prescribing/advice and guidance/referral secondary care as appropriate
- Dermatology assessments, prescribing/advice and guidance/referral secondary care as appropriate.
- Acute illness consultations, prescribing/advice and guidance/referral secondary care as appropriate
