Job summary

The Patient Services Administrator is responsible to the Patient Services Manager. They have general administrative duties within the admin office including managing and distributing incoming documentation and entering data onto the clinical system.

Proposed work pattern:

Mon - 12.00 - 18.00hrs ( 6)

Tues - 12.00 - 18.00hrs ( 6)

Wed - 12.00 - 18.00hrs ( 6)

Thurs - 12.00 - 18.00hrs ( 6)

Fri - 12.00 - 18.00hrs ( 6)

Main duties of the job

Managing Workflow documents and coding into the clinical records

Identify in workflow and refer any clinical actions internally as appropriate

Audit the workflow process

Managing emails, electronic and paper post.

Scanning of letters and relevant correspondence into patient notes.

Liaising with external agencies such as hospitals and community services.

Handle telephone queries and re-direct as appropriate

General admin support
