JOB SUMMARY

Grosvenor House Surgery is looking for one or two enthusiastic and committed GPs to join our friendly and supportive practice as a salaried GP to cover 8 sessions/week

This is an exciting opportunity for a high calibre, dedicated GP who will support us to maintain our high standards of clinical care with a strong patient-centered focus.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a GP to cover 6-8 clinical sessions and routine admin which would include a weekly duty doctor Accurx telephone triage session.

The post-holder will manage caseloads and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care and maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with Allied healthcare professional

We are a family-led, friendly and well-organised GMS practice based in West Ealing, London serving approx. 6000 patients. We pride ourselves in offering a caring, personal service.

The two Partners are supported by experienced clinical team of two Practice nurses, an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP), GP Assistant, reception and admin team. We train Practice Nurses, Nursing Associates and Advanced Clinical Practitioners.

We are part of South Central Ealing PCN and have access to excellent ARRS team of Social Prescribers, Physiotherapists, Clinical Pharmacists and a Pharmacy Technician. We would provide a safe and supported environment for you to grow and we would support any additional roles you wish to undertake

We use a Total Triage Model - AccuRx Triage, for all GP appointment requests so patients see the most appropriate clinician in a timely manner

We have a low visit rate. The majority of Care Homes patients are managed by a separate team commissioned by the borough. Admin is light- we have a team that undertake and sign repeat prescriptions. We also have a team who process workflow so you will have small amount of documents to process daily

We use SystmOne and have high QOF and Enhanced services achievement

We are situated in an excellent location with good transport links (Elizabeth, District, Central and Piccadilly underground stations close by) and with good schools nearby.

You will need to demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and provide expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills.

Your appointments will be a mixture if face to face and telephone consultations

You will be expected to be part of the duty Doctor rota dealing with queries, urgent prescriptions and emergencies and a home visit, if needed

Undertake care plans, screening and health promotion. You will also need to support the practice in achieving QOF and enhanced service targets

You will review your own patient results and incoming correspondence. You will need to make any necessary referrals for investigations or ongoing management, in a timely manner.

Attendance at practice meetings and training as and when appropriate

Insurance reports and other non-GMS work for patients known to you, as required
