Job summary

Come and join a friendly, supportive, patient centred practice in the Market Town of March, Cambs.

The practice is currently looking for an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic practice nurse to join our friendly and professional team.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a passion for providing excellent nursing care to deliver general practice nursing services.

Hours are 37 hours/week but are negotiable for the right candidate. Pay is negotiable

Main duties of the job

Current duties include Diabetes, long-term condition reviews, wound care, immunisations, cervical screening, travel advice, NHS Health Checks, stock ordering and replenishment.

Mercheford House Surgery is a 6500 patient practice with an increasing list. We have a team of 2 doctors, 2 Nurse Practitioners, 2 Practice Nurses, 2 HCA who are all supported by administration and reception teams.

Job description

Job responsibilities

The successful candidate will be a committed Practice Nurse who, acting within their professional boundaries, will provide care for our patients via the treatment room - including dressings, complex wounds, IM injections, cervical screening and baby immunisations clinics.

An interest in long-term condition management in Diabetes is desirable.

You should be able to work autonomously and as part of a team, demonstrating a high level of professionalism and motivation
