Visits are welcome as this gives you the chance to see us all in action. If you can't visit don't worry we can meet over Teams or via telephone call.
Main duties of the job
The focus of the role is on delivering direct evidence-based nursing
care, including assessing and monitoring Long Term Conditions and management of
preventative nursing interventions to all patients.
The post holder will work
collaboratively with the whole general practice and teams to meet the needs of
patients.
About us
Southbourne Surgery is located near to Chichester harbour, good local beaches, the city of Chichester and the South Downs.
We have a growing multi disciplinary team that includes GPs, paramedics, nurse practitioners, practice nurses, a physician associate and HCAs. The team regularly meets during tea breaks and monthly practice meetings which provide opportunities for shared learning and professional development.

- Mentor or teaching qualification

- ECGs
- Understand the requirement for PGDs and associated policies
- Ability to record accurate clinical notes
- Able to work within own scope of practice and understanding of when to refer to a GP
- Chaperone procedure
